Through our associate membership structure, BIG on Green provides a 45-hour eco entrepreneurship training program, geared towards local business owners and entrepreneurs interested in expanding their product or service offering to include an environmental component.

Our training for eco entrepreneurs includes perspectives on green business, social entrepreneurship and coop management. As a part of this training, eco entrepreneurs develop the green component of their business plan. They also gain the advantage of offering their environmental products or services under the umbrella of the cooperative. 

Eco entrepreneurs in our network provide technologies, products and services under seven different categories. They are Green Commute, Green Building & Landscape, Green Active Living, Green Information Technology, Green Office and Green Events.

A special section - GREEN SOCIAL SERVICES - is dedicated in our directory for social services organizations or government agencies that offer free programs and services that are either green or that supports the social and economic development of our members.
